Manor is a multi-purpose, recreation and meeting facility
for a senior housing project. The building has meeting rooms
with accordion doors which allow sectioning of the open space,
two ADA restrooms, a full kitchen, and two offices.
design incorporates the early 1900s style of noted Hawaii
architect Charles W. Dickey, whose signature was a multi-pitched,
multi-hipped roof still seen on many of Hawaii's museums,
mansions and public buildings.
of Pualani Manor is finished with oak cabinetry and trim, carpeting,
t-bar ceiling, and vinyl-wrapped wall treatment. To enhance the
feel of this great space, the large meeting room has a vaulted ceiling
and is surrounded by sliding-glass doors which let in light.
doors and windows have white grids and five different colors
of paint that give the building a rich, deep look and feel.
The lanai railing has a classic herring bone pattern. There
is also a barbecue area in the garden.
